With the Olympic bug/spirit on high with the Rio Games....who better to come share what it's like to prepare yourself for the Olympics than High River's Lisa Szabon-Smith.

Retired National Bobsledder Lisa Szabon-Smith and Jody Seeley

Lisa shared with us how she got the "bug" to be an Olympian after watching the 1996 games and how she pushed herself to reach some incredible goals.  Although she has retired from national athletics she shares her skills and experience with her personal training clients and coming soon the whole community when she opens her first gym called 'The Hub' this fall in High River.

We also chatted professional sports with rodeo announcer Mike Labelle today.  Battle of the North wrapped up yesterday for rodeo and chuckwagon racing. PLUS we chat up the Glencross Charity Invitational from Friday night.
