Okotoks youth pulled over driving 50km over the limit

Okotoks Municipal Enforcement has caught another driver speeding well over the posted limit.

According to a post from the town, a youth in a blue Honda Civic was clocked at 116km/hr in a 60 zone (48 Street) at 6:45 on Friday morning.

Speeding 50km over the limit lands drivers with a mandatory court summon, where a fine and length of suspension are determined by a judge.

Municipal enforcement caught a driver speeding nearly 80km over the limit just a month prior.
