More unfortunate news from the Okotoks Oilers.

Following the cancellation of the weekend's games due to a case of COVID-19 among the Drumheller Dragons cohort, the Oilers have now confirmed a case of their own.

That means they're again unable to engage in team activities for two weeks, along with the Dragons.

Both teams were put out of commission earlier this month for the same reason, with both cases also announced just days apart.

With the Camrose Kodiaks having concluded their season early due to their city council opting to remove the ice from arenas, that leaves only three of the six South Division teams able to engage in team activities.

The AJHL is due to announce the cohorts and schedule for the remainder of the season in the near future.
