It's a win for part 1 of the Okotoks Oilers home and home series against the Drumheller Dragons!

The Oilers took the 1st game 3-2 over the Dragons.

The 3rd period is when the Oilers started to lose control and we didn't see any goals from either side, but the Dragons didn't give up either with a barrage of shots against the Oilers net.

Oilers Rookie Jacob Bernard-Docker scored the winning goal in the 2nd period and he says as a team they'll need to step it up in tonight's game.

"I think we know now that they're a hard working team." Bernard-Docker says "We still need to learn how to piece together a full 60 minute performance, what happened tonight won't be good enough for playoff's."

The Oilers finish up the series tonight in Drumheller.

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM.
