The Okotoks Oilers return home with a pair of losses to open up their South Division Semi Finals with the Camrose Kodiaks.

Camrose was able to come away with 4-1 and 5-2 victories Saturday and Sunday giving them an early 2-0 series lead in the best of 7.

Oilers Associate Coach Bobby Fox says it was a frustrating weekend.

"We got outworked in a lot of aspects, we're not winning enough battles and that's the only thing," he says. "Obviously there's a little puck luck involved in some of their goals but we've got to be better."

Despite the setback in the series Fox says he hopes to the Oilers start to click on home ice.

"We're not going to lay down at all, we're going to approach with one shift at a time for game three, we fully expect to play our best hockey of the season."

Fox says for the Oilers to be successful they'll have to be more physical to give themselves a chance to comeback.

"When we're on the body when we're not flying by checks and being hard between both goal lines they're going to cough up pucks, they struggle with that kind of pressure and that's how we need to approach them. But we're going to have to get greasy, I think every goal in this series has been pretty greasy we just got to find away to bang more home."

Game four is Tuesday night at the Centennial Arena.
