The Okotoks Oilers put another one in the win column with a 4-2 win over the Mustangs Tuesday, January 31, in Calgary.

Winger Corey Santoro scored the Oilers second goal on the night, and his tenth on the season, as the Oilers move back into second spot in the AJHL's South Division, two points up on the idle Calgary Canucks.

Santoro was happy with their effort, but says they still need to work on defence.

"We've got to clean up our 'D-Zone' a little bit, those last two goals we weren't happy with. But when you're peppering the team with fifty-some shots, you're doing something right. And we've just got to keep in simple in our defensive zone and sort that out, we should be good."

Carter Huber and Trey Degraaf with a pair were the other Oilers goal getters on the night.

Degraaf leads the Oilers with 24 goals on the season, and is tenth in league scoring with 52 points.

The Oilers are home to the third place Canucks Saturday, February 4.
