The Okotoks Oilers kept things interesting in game five of their Alberta Junior Hockey League South Division finals against the Brooks Bandits on April 7, 2017.

But it wasn't enough as the Oilers fell 3-2 in overtime to the Bandits in Brooks.

The Oilers were in the lead 2-1 in the second period, before the Bandits tied it up in the third, and pocketed the win in overtime.

Tanner Landeroute and Carson Beers scored the goals for the Oilers while Beers, Jordan Davies and Trey DeGraaf earned points for assists.

The Bandits now move on the AJHL Finals as the Oilers season comes to an end losing 4 games to 1 in the best of seven series against the Bandits.
