The Highwood Mustangs Varsity girls basketball squad are heading to the Foothills League finals.

They overpowered the Strathcona-Tweedsmuir Spartans 52-31 Wednesday, February 27, in their semi-final match-up.

The Mustangs face the Strathmore Spartans in the final Saturday at 2 o'clock at Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks.

They're back on the road next week in Cochrane for zone playoffs with a berth at provincials on the line.
