One guy who's happy to see the arrests of two men suspected of twice breaking into his Priddis watering hole is Cory Morgan.

Morgan was victimized twice in the course of a few days with his place, the water's edge pub, vandalized and robbed.

He says the arrests are good news.

"Most definitely, I mean with these guys showing a habit of repeatedly hitting businesses, not just hitting them once it made it very difficult to rest knowing they were out and about. So, it's good to see they've been, looks like, picked up. Hopefully this little crime wave will stop."

Morgan says he was out over $8,000 after thieves robbed him and busted up his bar, but was quick to point out there was a silver lining, as the robberies forced him to beef up his security with bars and Plexi-Glass-glass.

He says over the past few weeks, the community has come out to support his business in droves, which helped to mitigate the financial losses.

"The community has just been outright fantastic. They've raised funds for us, because we we're hit hard. $8,000 in a couple of weeks is tough on a little business. And of course our business has gone up when it's typically a little slower at this time of year, people having been making a point of coming out. So, it's really, really appreciated and helping us get through this mess."

Morgan says through it all he had faith the RCMP would find those responsible.
