It's fitting....a big box-shaped building to house boxed beef.

The Cargill Meat Solutions plant north of High River has constructed a huge square building just south of the plant.

It'll be connected to the plant by a plus-15 style walkway and conveyor system.

Cargill general manager Scott Entz says the increased storage capacity means they'll be more active in the export market....

He says they produce about 30-thousand boxes of beef a day.  Once they arrive in the new distribution centre, a crane operated system will handle all of the boxes.
