The Okotoks Dawgs saw a pair of their players drafted by big league clubs in the Major League Baseball Draft over the weekend.

Slugger Bruce Yari, who was off to a great start with the Dawgs, was taken by the Cincinnati Reds, and has left the team to take advantage of his opportunity with the Reds.

Outfielder Clayton Keyes from Calgary and a graduate of the Dawgs Academy program was nabbed by the Toronto Blue Jays, but will likely return to the University of Washington this fall where he has a full baseball scholarship, and re-enter the draft next year.
