Four players from right here in the Foothills will be on the national stage this fall playing for Team Alberta in men's and women's national hockey championships.

Okotoks Peyton Krebs, who was the top pick in this year's WHL Draft, along with Claresholm goaltender, Bryan Fancy, will represent Alberta at the Canada U-16 Challenge Cup going at Winsport in Calgary October 19-23.

The other two will put on the Alberta jersey's for the girls U-18 squad.

Okotoks forward Kennedy Brown, who plays for the Rocky Mountain "AAA" Midget Raiders, along with Edge School defenceman Jane Jacobs, from Carseland, at the National U-18 Women's Championships in Regina November 9-13.
