A couple of Highwood Junior Golfers will playoff in the semi-finals of the 2016 Alberta Amatuer PAIRSGolf Junior Championships Tuesday.

Mark Mercier and Riley Fortin won't actually be seeing their competition though.

It's part of a new program called "PAIRSGolf" that allows them to play against other golfers from around the Province virtually.

Basically it means teams don't have to travel around the Province to compete, but simply play their home courses, with the best scores winning.

If either or both win in Tuesday's match, they'll play in the finals, early next week.
