10-year-old Alainna Clarke joined me on the Morning Show today to share her story.  She was diagnosed with myofibrosarcoma at the ages of 15 months.  She did 15 months of chemo, had a tumour in her neck removed 6 months in followed by another 8 months of chemo.  At 10, she's doing very well and it down to yearly visits to the Alberta Children's Hospital.

This dynamic young lady from Dewinton (who's Mom is from High River) will get to have her hair & makeup done, a new fancy dress and a limo ride to the A Touch Of Gold  event on February 27, 2016.  I will get the distinct honour of walking down the gold carpet at the event along side her.  (Thank you for the invite)

You can find all the details about the event and tickets at www.believeinthegold.ca.  Everyone is invited to join us for the debut of a documentary on children with cancer - Little Golden Stars.  All money raised will go towards families who need assistance with the added costs of a child with cancer and also to research being done at the Alberta Children's Hospital.
