The struggles continue for local cowboys at the Calgary Stampede Rodeo, with all five competitors from the area having a tough day two.

All three local bull riders, Chad Besplug out of Claresholm, Strathmore's Scott Schiffner, and Black Diamond's Tyler Thomson were bucked off their bulls.

Thomson sits fifth in Pool A after two days, with Besplug sixth and Schiffner seventh.

While it was a better day two in Saddle Bronc for Millarville's Sam Kelts, his 79.5 points leave him tied for last place in the aggregate.

No such luck for Cayley's Matt Lait in Bareback either, as he came in eight on the day with a 78.5 point ride.
