The Liberal Party of Alberta has a candidate for the Livingstone-Macleod riding.

Dylin Hauser is once again running in this year's provincial election.

Hauser says a different voice needs to be heard.

"I want to still be that voice and that voice only gets silenced if I stop doing it. I mean realistically we don't have enough candidates to make up government but it's amazing what an extra two or three voices that are different at the table can do."

He also says one of the driving factors for him running in the election is shining the spotlight on mental health.

"I think mental health is kind of at the root of a lot of things... you know, crime, addictions, job performance... it's all got to do with who we are as individuals and who we are is our mental health. It all kind of boils down to that for me."

Hauser ran in the previous provincial election garnering one per cent of the votes.

The provincial election is Monday, May 29.
