Sunday July 24th I attended the Willow Creek Gospel Music Jamboree.

(The Willow Creek Gospel Music Jamboree Association and Darrel Janz)

The Willow Creek Gospel Music Jamboree Association’s mission is to present gospel through Christian music.

This is the 19th year of the Jamboree and people from all over Western Canada flocked to Granum to see all sorts of Christian Musicians.

This event is held on the grounds between the School and Campground in Granum.

Christian Music Jamborees are famous for being the kick start for many Canadian Christian Musicians and the Willow Creek Gospel Jamboree is especially known for this.

They had performers such as the Banksons, The Willie Sons, and Pete and the Repeats.

This year’s emcee was Darrel Janz, who happens to be a local High Riverite and a former news reporter.

Next year is the 20th anniversary of this Jamboree and the Willow Creek Gospel Music Jamboree Association invites you to join in on all the fun in Granum!
