It's Dad's night on Saturday November 17th at the Pason Centre (204 Community Way, Okotoks) but it's open to everyone, not just Dad's.

It's all part of the Foothills Children's Wellness Network which the Wild Rose Community Connections is working with.  Marianne Dixon with WRCC stopped in this morning to talk it up.

"It's for anyone interested in the early years and the importance of early childhood development."

Of course, all Dad's are invited but also all Mom's and everyone else too so everyone can see the importantance for father's and father figures to be involved with their children.

And the event is completely free too!

There will be free childcare for any child 2 years and older that way the kids can play and have fun will the parent(s) listen to the guest speakers.

The doors open at 8:30am and the event runs from 9:00am until 2:30pm with a complimentary lunch provided for both the participants and their children.

The fine folks doing all the organizing for this event would like it if you could register so they can plan for the lunch.
