Hospitalizations from COVID-19 are declining according to Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw says there are now 80 people in hospital with 17 in ICU.

Just over four thousand people have recovered and we now have 1,963 active cases.

There have been 81 new cases and one more person has died bringing the total to 115.

Cargill has 95 active cases with 849 recovered, JBS in Brooks has 96 active and 497 recovered and Harmony meats near Balzac has 21 active and 16 recovered.

Dr, Hinshaw says she's changed the way she's presenting the data to better reflect the real numbers.

She says the drop in hospitalizations means the province has been on the right track and hospitals are well equipped to handle the outbreak.
