Another jump in COVID-19 cases around the Province over the weekend, but the numbers remained more or less the same here in the Foothills.

High River, which includes the southern part of Foothills County and the northern part of the Willow Creek MD is holding steady with just a single active case.

Okotoks has three active cases in the town itself, but when the Priddis area and the northern part of Foothills County is added that number climbs to seven.

Black Diamond, which includes Turner Valley and the western part of Foothills County has two active cases and Vulcan, which includes Vulcan County has three active.

Alberta saw another 359 new cases over the weekend along with three more deaths bringing the province's total to 224.

There are 45 people in hospital with 10 in intensive care.

There are now 1,132 active cases in the province.
