The High River Flyers came out flying last night at the Bob Snodgrass Rec Centre.

They scored early and often as they beat the Lomond Lakers 6-2.

It's only their second win of the season as they now move to a 2-17-0 record on the season.

The Flyers lit the lamp twice in the first period and both were on the power play with a goal from Brandon Jarman with the assist from William Ellis and then Daniel Pare notched another with assists from Josh Wilhelm and Wout Rehorst.

Flyers found the back of the twine twice in the second to take a commanding 4-0 lead with Alex Aguilar scoring both of the goals.

Lomond finally got on the board with a pair before the end of the second period.

But it was all Flyers again in the third with Daniel Pare picking up his second goal of the game and then Scott Boyd finished off the Flyers scoring for the 6-2 final.

It was a multi-point night for Alex Aguliar as he finished off the night with 2 goals and 1 assist, Wout Rehorst picked up 3 assists with Daniel Pare picking up 2 goals with William Ellis adding a pair of helpers.

The Flyers lace up the skates again tonight as they travel to the Snakepit to take on the Coaldale Copperheads Saturday (Nov. 20) at 8:30 p.m.
