A couple of local pro's finished in the money at the PGA of Alberta Championship Tuesday, August 20 at the River Bend Golf and Recreation Area in Red Deer.

Both Sirocco's Craig Gibson and Sam Kirkness from Priddis Greens finished tied for third, taking home cheque's for $2,358.

Calgary's Wes Heffernan, after shooting a course record 9-under 63 in the opening round Monday, August 19, had another good round Tuesday, shooting a 5-under 67 to take the title and the $5,700 payday.
