Hail has destroyed crops on six sections of land west of High River.
Assistant agricultural fieldman Faith Turner with the Foothills MD says baseball-sized ice chunks fell hardest along Tongue Creek road near 48th Street east.
She says the canola and wheat crops were totally wiped out.
Turner says section owners include Glen and Leslie Smith, Jesse Hari and Tongue Creek Feeders.
