This weekend past was The Victoria Day weekend. That official introduction was for my pal Bob
Young who absolutely hates to hear people call it The May long or the first long weekend
of summer. My friend Bob is a traditionalist I guess. I am ok with that and the other forms of
saluting the weekend that is special in May from my end.
What this past weekend was for High River was outstanding beginning with The Free Concert
at George Lane Park Friday night. A shout out to my pal Doug Niemans for providing awesome
entertainment as always with the very talented Tim Huss wrapping the night musically.
Saturday started with another great parade thanks to my pal Hank L and his Rotary parade buddies.
Tate's Lemonade Stand again was a hit and a shout to he and his Dad and their awesome family
and friends who again raised money in memory of Tate's Mom for the Cancer Centre.
Below are some memories ofthe weekend! ENJOY!
