GALLERY: Little ones invited to take in big trucks

The Town of Okotoks takes great pride in its public works professionals. 

May 21-27 is National Public Works Week (NPWW) and the town is hosting a few events to celebrate and learn how public works connects us all through infrastructure and services.

The equipment showcase was back for its second year Tuesday, May 23. This event was perfect for little ones who were fascinated with big trucks and equipment. on display were several loaders, clearer and plows as well as public works professionals to answer questions about the community.

The town has also launched a contest as part of Public Works Week (May 21-27) where locals can submit potential names for a new street sweeper vehicle.
