SAIT and Canmore were really on display in 'Kin' the latest episode of The Last of Us.

In episode six of the nine-episode season the iconic Engine Bridge near Canmore was profiled in a big way.

And the Rocky Mountains in the background was definitely noticed.

Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Mount Royal University were also easily identifiable although the characters enter SAIT only to exit from MRU.

The HBO series based on a 2013 video game is the most expensive series every filmed in Alberta with many locations in the Foothills and Southern Alberta.

High River, Nanton and various local locations have provided some key scenes in the multi-million-dollar series.

And if you were a fan of the television show 'Northern Exposure' you might've recognized Elaine Miles who played 'Marilyn' in the show for all five seasons.  She was paired up with Canadian actor Graham Greene who played 'Leonard' in five episodes of Northern Exposure along with Miles.

The series has already been given the green light to film season two although there is no word yet on where they will be filming.

The final three episodes are set to be released on the following three Sundays on HBO which streams on CRAVE in Canada.
