The Heritage Inn International Balloon Festival continues to delight locals of all ages.

The balloons were unable to lift off on Thursday night, but all 29 balloons filled the sky shortly after 8 a.m. Friday with the Yoda balloon once again acting as the 'hare'.

The objective is for the 'hare' balloon to lead as the other balloons chase it.

One of the new unique shapes was also able to go up Friday morning.

The 'Owlbert Einstein' shape with pilot Gary Moore took to the sky much to the delight and cheers of the crowd at the Macleod Trail launch site.
