Foothills Regional EMS has gotten busier.
Executive Director Darren Sandbeck says responces were up 9-percent in 2005 over the previous year.
He says they're already 10-percent above where they were last year at this time and that's stretching their manpower.
He says wait times at city hospitals have improved, allowing crews to drop patients off and return to the region quicker.
