The High River Flyers split a pair of games in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League this weekend.
They got their first win Saturday night when they downed the Medicine Hat Cubs 6-2.
GM Vince Miller, says it was well deserved.
"It's a big relief, a great win, the guys all showed they came to play for a full 60 minutes and they got the result they want," he says.
Yt was a big rebound game after a 9-2 loss to the Okotoks Bisons Friday night.
Elsewhere, Strathmore's Wheatland Kings also split a pair of games with a 6-3 loss to the Cochrane Generals Saturday and a 7-3 win over Banff Sunday
