The High River Flyers are 0-2 so far this weekend after dropping their game against the Cochrane Generals last night.

A close game through 40 minutes had the Generals up 4 to 3 going into the third, big offensive plays from the Generals had the final score sitting at 6-3.

Goals from Assistant Captain Brennan McPherson and Michael McTighe helped the Flyers stay in the game.

Flyers Goaltender Davyn LaRocke faced a total of 38 shots before being pulled out just after the 15:00 minute mark of the third period. Max Johnston relieved LaRocke and stopped the remaining 10 shots.

The Flyers get back to action Sunday, December 1st at 2:30 for their Teddy Bear Toss Game.
