The High River Flyers need a couple of wins this weekend.

They could finish as high as fourth in the Heritage League's South Division, or sixth depending on what happens this week and next.

The Flyers only have two games left, while the team they're chasing, the Strathmore Wheatland Kings, have five.

While the team chasing the Flyers, the Banff Academy Bears, have four games in hand.

The Flyers host Blackfalds Friday night and are in Banff Saturday to wind up the regular season.

Coach Tyson Avery says it won't be easy.

"Blackdfalds are a big team, strong team and their fast. So we're just going to have to work hard and outskate them basically to get our two points. And Banff? They're a fast team. So again we're going to have to outskate them and outwork them to make sure we get the extra two points from them too."

Avery says they likely won't know for sure who they'll play in the post season until the regular season wraps up next weekend.
