The High River Flyers welcome long time rivals, the Okotoks Bisons to the rec-plex Friday, September 23 as they fire up their Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League rivalry.

The Flyers dropped both their pre-season games aganst the Bisons and Coach Tyson Avery says they need to get off on the right foot Friday night if they hope to walk away with the two points.

"We need a quick start, we need to play 60 minutes, we need to be on them and forcing them 100-percent of the time. We can't let off the gas pedal. They're a good team, they have some older guys with skill. So we need to pressure them, we need to make them make a play. We can't sit back and make them come to us."

The hit the ice at 8:15 P.M.

The Flyers wrap up the weekend Saturday night at home against the Medicine Hat Cubs, while for the Bisons this is their lone game of the weekend.
