Downtown High River was a vibrant hub of activity on Thursday.

The Farmer's Market made it's outdoor debut in the newly upgraded Pioneer Square.

On hand were all kinds of vendors selling everything from fresh produce and baked goods to Tupperware and clothing.

Treasurer of the Downtown Business Association, Dr. Dan Campbell, says the move was a long time coming.

Campbell says the goal now is to get a few more music vendors in and create an entertaining atmosphere.

Campbell says "everyone seems to be please with the amount of vendors and hopefully it will do nothing but grow."

A regular patron of the Farmer's Market, Wendy Leduc, says she is "totally impressed."

Leduc, likes the friendlier atmosphere and says over all it's a real plus to have the Market moved downtown.

The market will be wrapping up next week Thursday and will resume in it's new home, downtown High River, in the spring.
