In what has been a career changing 2014, former Okotoks Dawg Jordan Procyshen has earned yet another promotion.

The catcher has been called up to the Greenville Drive of the South Atlantic Baseball League.

The Drive are a Single "A" affiliate of the MLB's Boston Red Sox, who the Calgary native was drafted by in the 14th round back in June.

Previously this year, Procyshen suited up for the Lowell Spinners of the New York-Pennsylvania League.

In 19 games with the Spinners this season Procyshen has 14 hits and 6 RBI's.

Procyshen played in his first game for the Drive earlier this week and went 1-4 at the plate with one hit.

The Drive have already been eliminated from the SAL playoffs with a 19-40 record so far in 2014.

Procyshen played for the Okotoks J-Dawgs before suiting up for the Okotoks Dawgs collegiate team between 2011 and 2013.
