Country Music lost a legend this past weekend and another much too young.  The sad

news of Don Williams passing was brought to my attention at The Ag Grounds while

I was announcing the Vintage Tractor Pull for the Call of The West Museum and the Ag

Society.  Later we all learned of the tragic death of Troy Gentry of the Duo Montgomery Gentry.

Troy was lost in a helicopter crash going to a show at the age of just 50.

This weekend The Antique Tractor Pull, Model T Races and Car Show was another success

at the Ag Grounds.  9 Model T Racers, 19 tractors and a number of vintage vehicles made the

day great.  I was announcing the Tractor Pull and had a blast doing it. I missed the Threshing

at Sheppard Family Park but by all accounts that event went and was a great success too.

(Model T racers were a highlight at the Ag Grounds on the weekend)

On a final and sad note today, RIP to those that perished 16 years ago today as terror reigned in New York city and around the world on 9/11.
