The Calgary Stampeders are in High River Saturday to host a Junior Football Camp.

Stamps Head Coach Dave Dickenson says it's important to the organization to stretch their reach beyond the Calgary city limits.

"To us, Southern Alberta, we should own that area. I'm hoping that the less green jersey's I see in High River, the better. We want these fans to understand we appreciate them taking the drive in. We want them to come out, as our players have always been accessible. I remember when I was playing here, playing hockey in High River. Playing basketball games in High River and Vulcan and Okotoks. We've always reached out, and I'm glad the response has been solid and we'll get the kids there and we'll have a good time."

Dickenson, along with a host of others will be at Highwood High School from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday.
