The Okotoks Dawgs are on a bit of roll coming out of the weekend.

They managed to break out of a three game losing streak to start the season with a 2-1 win Saturday night at Seaman Stadium over the Medicine Hat Mavericks.

They followed that up Sunday afternoon with a 4-3 win over the Lethbridge Bulls.

Josh McIntyre and Bruce Yari combined to drive in three of the Dawgs four runs on the day, while Liam Stroud went six strong innings on the mound to get the win giving up three runs and striking out six Bulls batters.

The Dawgs are in Swift Current Tuesday and Edmonton Wednesday to face Fort McMurray.

They're back home Friday and Saturday to take on the Edmonton Prospects.
