The Okotoks Dawgs returned home from a successful six-game road trip Wednesday night and scored a 6-0 win over the Edmonton Prospects.

The win was the Dawg's fifth in a row as they make a move up the standings in the Western Major Baseball League West Division.

The win improved the Dawgs to 16-and-8 as they're looking to close the gap on the Medicine Hat Mavericks who currently sit 1st.

Brendan Rose had 2 hits and 2 rbi’s for the Dawgs while Justin King contributed with 2 runs, 3 hits and 1 rbi.

CJ Lewington got the start, and the win, his team leading 4th of the season

The Dawgs continue a long homestand Thurday night against the Brooks Bombers.
