Calgary's loss is Okotoks' gain.
The Calgary Dawgs baseball team has officially announced it's heading south to a new home at the corner of North Railway and 32nd streets.
Managing Director John Ircandia can't wait to get the shovel in the ground.
He says they're grateful to be welcomed to the town and are determined to make their home the premier baseball park in the country.
There'll be two thousand seats and room for another two thousand fans on grass berms.
The field house will be used year 'round for baseball clinics and training for local teams.
