This afternoon, the CP Holiday Train came to Blackie, and Jim Cuddy, Devin Cuddy and Kelly Prescott put on a fantastic performance!

The train pulled into Blackie at one o'clock on the dot, and the half hour performance started at 1:15. There was a massive turnout, as the crowd anxiously awaited the stage to lower and the holiday fun to begin! Halfway through the performance, CP Rail presented the Blackie and District Food Bank with a cheque for $4000!

There was lots to do before and after the show. A Christmas Market in the Blackie Community Hall boasted 22 local vendors to get those last minute Christmas gifts, and the Blackie Lions Club were downstairs serving chili and a bun to warm you up! There were also hay rides that left every 10 minutes, and a big fire pit to warm your fingers and toes! It was a great afternoon to support local businesses, catch up with friends and families, and of course sing and dance along to the fantastic entertainment on the CP Holiday Train!
