The Town of Nanton is calling for volunteers to fill several vacancies on their committees.

Mayor Jennifer Handley says they need volunteers on all their committees, including the recreation, governance, and finance and services.

"So we are looking for members at large to join all of our standing committees," said Handley. "We want the public participation and perspective on everything."

They also have a new economic development committee.

She adds if people want to get involved and be a part of the solutions that is what they want.

Handley says if people want to be involved in finding solutions for the community this is a great way to get involved.
