It just wouldn't be late November without the Willow Creek Cobras and the Drumheller Titans squaring off in the Tier IV high school provincial football south final.

The two teams will meet for the fifth straight year this Saturday in Claresholm.

Cobras Head Coach Tim Bryson is well aware of his teams record against the Titans.

"We've played them six times in provincial playoffs, and we're 2-and-4, including losing the three between 2011 and 2013 when they were on that roll of three provincial titles."

Despite the losing record in south finals to the Titans, the Cobras have recent history on their side.

They have a better record this season, winning seven games so far, versus just three for the Titans.

And they also have last year's South Final to look back on where they beat the Titans before losing out in the Alberta Bowl to the north champion Holy Rosary Raiders.

Game time is 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Cobras field in Claresholm.
