This weekend was another fun-filled one for the Polar Patrol! On Saturday, November 14, the Polar Patrol visited the Christmas in DeWinton Craft Fair, and on Sunday, November 15, the Aspen Crossing Christmas Market!

Adorable and extremely detailed birdhouses for sale this past weekend at the annual Christmas Market at Aspen Crossing

The Christmas in DeWinton Craft Fair took place at the DeWinton Community Hall on Saturday, November 14th and featured local artists, businesses and vendors from across Southern Alberta. Not only was there great shopping, but also some fantastic entertainment. The choir from Ecole Okotoks Junior High performed throughout the morning, and in the afternoon, the Calgary Fiddlers put on a fantastic performance.

On Sunday, November 15, Polar Patrol visited the Aspen Crossing Christmas Market. This market was in it's 11th year running, and boasted over 55 local vendors and artists. It was the perfect place to do some weekend Christmas shopping, and after grab some lunch in their 1887 Pullman Dining Car Restaurant. Santa himself even made a surprise visit Sunday morning, and made sure to take lots of pictures with both children and adults.
