Okay, so I fell off the New Years' Resolution bandwagon a few weeks ago but I'm back on it!

Part of the resolutions was making sugar-free, gluten-free and vegan snacks.

Here's a recipe for Broccoli Wings...I know they don't sound as tasty as chicken wings but they taste pretty darn good.

Ingredients:

-1 head of broccoli or a bag of broccoli florets

-1 cup of gluten-free flour

-1 cup of water

-3 tbsp of hot sauce (Lousiana is my preference)

-1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

-1 tsp onion powder (optional)

-sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

-wash, dry, cut broccoli into bite size pieces

-whisk together ingredients into a batter much like the consistency of pancake batter

-preheat oven to 445 F

-dip each floret and shake the excess off or tap the side of the bowl

-lay them flat on a parchment lined baking sheet

-bake for 20-25 mins

-remove from oven and then toss in sauce of choice and put back in the oven for another 5-10 mins

-or just dip them and if you use bbq sauce look for 'no-sugar' added or there are sugar free recipes out there too

Enjoy!
