It was another stupendous Sunday with the Sunshine Patrol! This year the 11th Annual Car Show held in Black Diamond was organized by a new group, the "Thumbs Up Association", and it sure was a big THUMBS UP with over 150 cars in attendance!!

Organizer and Co-Organizer Jerry and Carson Tofin, a mother and son team, were very pleased with the turnout and overall success of the Show n' Shine. This event was a special event for them as the "Thumbs Up Association' was created in memory of their loving husband and father. In fact, all the proceeds from the event went to The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada to help aid in its research.

There were various vendors at the show selling everything from records to sun dresses. Live music was playing throughout the day thanks to Peter and the Wolves! Food trucks were also placed throughout the show for people to enjoy a burger, hot dog or pulled pork. The record shop on wheels below holds hundreds of vinyls and cassettes then drives around Calgary selling them throughout the week and at markets on weekends! It was super cool inside and I would suggest checking it out for yourself if you ever see it driving around town!

I was also able to speak with a family that brought their grandson to enjoy the show! Jim and Linda brought 6 year old Aidyn and he loved every minute of it!

His favourite vehicle by far was this yellow hot rod!!

It was a beautiful for a car show!!

Make sure you enter to win our all-new 2019 RAM Laramie Crew Cab 4X4 before the summer is over!!

Hope you have a great day,
