The Carstar Okotoks Bisons put an exclamation mark on the five-game series with the Rocky Rams Saturday night (March 9), with a crushing 7-0 victory. With the win, the Herd had won their sixth straight game in the playoffs and continue to reach the HJHL finals in now their third straight appearance.

Jady Shigehiro would open the scoring with a shorthanded goal, it would be the lone goal in the first period even though the Bisons heavily outshot the Rams 19-5.

To start the second the Bisons didn't let up, completely smothering the Rams with shots and goals. Scott Brown would be the first on the board in the second as he found open space and roofed the puck home. Easton Dean would follow up Brown's goal as he skated around the back of the Rams net tucking home a beautiful wraparound goal.
