The Okotoks Bisons and Cochrane Generals meet in home and home series this weekend in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

The Bisons lead the third place Generals by eight points in the South Division, and are four back of the Coaldale Copperheads for top spot.

While the Bisons are third in league scoring, Coach Chris Beston says it's their defence that's leading the way.

"we've only allowed 41 goals in 21 games. We're leading the league in goals against and that's kind of the stat I'm most impressed with than the goals for."

The Bisons are third in league scoring with 108 goals, Coaldale's number two with 116 and way out front are the Airdrie Thunder with 199.

The Bisons and Generals play the opener of their two game set Friday, December 5, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Murray Arena.

The play the rematch Saturday, December 8 in Cochrane.
