Average age creeping up in High River

Stats Canada released more detailed results from the 2021 Census this week.

Of the 14,325 High River residents, 8,345, or 58 per cent, are between the ages of 15-and-64.

The next largest group is those 65 years and over with 3,535 while those from 0-to-14 years of age number just 2,450.

The average age in High River is 44.0.

In the 2016 Census it was pegged at 42 years.
