Calgary Police are warning of an attempted child luring in the southern Calgary community of Walden.

On Monday (July 25) at around 3:20 p.m., a boy and his dog were approached by a man in a white van in front of the boy's home in Walden Mews S.E.

The suspect reportedly rolled down the passenger side window and told the boy to get in.

Police describe his vehicle as a mid-to-early 1990s Chevrolet Astro or GMC Safari van.
