Crowsnest RCMP has issued an Amber Alert this afternoon after a child was abducted from her home in Blairmore.

Police say 2-year-old Hailey Dunbar-Blanchette, was abducted by an unknown person.

She's described as caucasian, small build, light brown straight hair with bangs and she has brown eyes,

The suspect vehicle, fled the residence west, at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle is described as a newer model white van, with a large rear antenna, with a flag attached.

Police urge anyone who spots the van not to approach it but to contact the RCMP.
